About Us

The Hispanic Contractors Association de San Antonio (HCA de SA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that was established over twenty years ago with the core purpose of promoting and supporting the educational advancement and growth of Small, Minority, Women, Veteran, and Disadvantaged-Owned businesses (SMWVDBEs) in the construction industry throughout South Texas.

Our mission is to promote the growth and success of SWMVDBE businesses in the construction industry through education, advocacy, and networking.

At HCA, we are committed to empowering our members to reach their highest potential and significantly contribute to the region's economic development. Our primary objective is to become the foremost support system for SMWVDBEs in South Texas, providing them with the necessary resources, opportunities, and advocacy to thrive in a competitive marketplace.

We firmly believe in diversity's power and its vital role in driving innovation and fostering inclusive economic growth. In addition to our dedication to business development, we are equally devoted to addressing and overcoming our members' diversity challenges. We actively promote equity and inclusion, working towards creating a level playing field where all entrepreneurs, regardless of their background, can succeed.

Through our comprehensive programs, mentorship initiatives, and strategic partnerships, we aim to equip our members with the tools and knowledge needed to navigate the complexities of the construction industry. We provide educational resources, networking opportunities, and deep industry resources to empower our members to overcome barriers, expand their reach, and seize new opportunities.

Furthermore, HCA strives to build strong and vibrant communities by fostering collaboration between SMWVDBEs, local government entities, and other industry stakeholders. We advocate for policies promoting fair contracting practices, supplier diversity, and workforce development, ensuring all voices are heard and represented in decision-making.

Our commitment to excellence, integrity, and professionalism drives our efforts to be a trusted resource and advocate for our members. We are dedicated to continuously evolving and adapting our programs and services to meet the evolving needs of our members and the ever-changing construction industry landscape.

Join us at HCA as we work towards creating a future where diverse businesses thrive, communities prosper, and barriers to success are dismantled. We can build a more equitable and inclusive construction industry that benefits all.
